The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has mandated that all agencies and all PCA and CDPAP aides use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to document their services provided, effective January 1st 2021.
Using EVV, PCA and CDPAS aides will be required to “clock in” at the beginning of each scheduled shift, and “clock out” at the end of each scheduled shift.
(Please note, you only need to choose ONE method):
PCA Aides will be required to enter their duties that they completed, aligned with the patient’s Plan of Care. You can access the list of codes associated with each duty in the resources below. CDPAS Aides are not required to enter any duties; CDPAS aides can just enter “000” for the duty.
To ensure that all employees have adopted--and are comfortable with using EVV in time for the January 1st 2021 deadline--Trimed Home Care services will move to convert all aides to EVV no later than November 1st 2020. This two-month buffer will help ensure that there is sufficient time to resolve any outstanding issues and provide any additional training in time for the January 1st deadline.
For the Call-In Method, you will need your Assignment ID. Please email us at info@trimedhomecare.com or call us at (347)-727-7200 and ask for an EVV Coordinator to receive your Assignment ID.
For the HHA App Method, you will need to download the app, and provide us with the HHA Mobile ID. Please email us at info@trimedhomecare.com to provide your Full Name, W-Number (Payroll ID) and HHA Mobile ID, or call us at (347)-727-7200 and ask for an EVV Coordinator to submit your Full Name, W-Number (Payroll ID) and HHA Mobile ID.
To request a FOB Device, please email us at info@trimedhomecare.com or call us at (347)-727-7200 and ask for an EVV Coordinator.
All PCA Aides are required to document their duties when they clock out. For the Call-In Method, aides will be required to enter the Duty Codes (3-digit code) for each duty over the phone. For CDPAP, press "000" for the duty codes, as entering duty codes is not required for CDPAP aides.
