To our Patients and Employees,

Tri-Med Home Care Services Inc., top priority is always the safety of our patients and employees.
It is important to us that we do all we can to keep you informed about how we are handling significant public health concerns like Corona virus – COVID-19.

As of this moment, our agency remains open and is operating under normal business hours. Should that change based on an emerging health threat, we are prepared to alter those hours to ensure that the health and safety of our patients and employees are not compromised. We will immediately alert you by phone, or website, and on social media should the need arise.

We are closely monitoring the latest reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the health departments in Suffolk County, Nassau County and New York City. We are prepared to work closely with relevant public health officials and MLTCs should there be a need to close the agency. If the agency has to be closed, our answering service will be in place to receive and dispatch all calls, and our Care Coordinators and other agency staff will be working remotely to assist with continuity of care.

In the meantime, we are closely following public health expert’s guidance. Field staff has been remediated on Universal Precautions and Infection control measures.

Prevention Tips

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Employees should stay home if you feel sick
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe
  • Follow CDCs recommendation for using facemask – Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

We will continue to monitor the situation and evaluate additional measures to support our patients and employees.

At Tri-Med Home Care Services, Inc., we pride ourselves in providing high-quality care by our professional team.
